Introduction - Pasheer and the Lost Middle World Project

Blog Introduction

Hey there! I've thought of making a separate blog for my bigger project accountability. Honestly I've tried Instagram, then Tumblr. Unfortunately I just feel I'm more distracted, and I spent more time scrolling on my feed instead of making project log entry.

While this may look more curated, but it's not really! I want to just compile my project log, what I have in my thought but still under the umbrella theme of any of my big art project. This is not supposed to be a portfolio to pitch to studios of course.

All of my documentation's purpose is to record what goes wrong, what I did well, and a space to explore without algorithm. While we are on the enshittication of social platforms, I thought this is a good start to fight for better information and documentation resources. All of my projects in this blog are for hobby only, and are not up for IP merchandising and distribution.

Pasheer and the Lost Middle World Project

Yes, the project is no longer called "The Death Sand project". This is a project as an opportunity to learn and explore any medium I like. It is an open-ended project that allows me to explore different kind of art medium without having to restrict myself to one genre only.

Am I currently interested in Fabrication in VFX? Let's make original project based on concept I already have! Collage art, absolutely let's go for it!

See, this project is more of a way for me to not create from scratch anymore. Because to create something entirely new from scratch all the time is tiring.

The last progress so far...

The concept I created this project when I took "Creature Design Workshop November 2025" challenge to allow myself to finish a project.

Here is the documented Work-in-Progress

New Direction of the Project

Like any of finished project, I'd like to explore more on especially the Creatures in 3D works.

Here is the early 3D works of the Creatures for the concept

Then I had this question: What if I made the creature more of a 'Sand-Horse'.

These are the 3D works I have done so far! creature05 creature06 creature07

Okay the term Sand-horse is quite abstract but I was referring on how the creature has long neck unlike Crocodile!

How I am taking the Project onwards

For accountability sake, I'm going to try to make Budget-Rod cables as if it was part of more on-Budget Film.

This is not restricted to the "Sand-Horse" Creature but I am excited to introduce more new Creatures in the future!

I hope you enjoy this format of showcasing my work! I'll see you on the next one!
